Theatre 101

Are you interested in volunteering for Monroe Theatre Guild
but do not know what you can do? Do you want to know what it
takes to put on a community theatre production? Come on down
for this fun informative evening where seasoned MTG members
will run you through the jobs of production so you can decide
where you might fit in. In this 2-hour class, we will talk about
the jobs of Producer, Director, Stage Manager, Technical Director,
Designer, Prop Master, Scenic Painter, Costumer, Lighting Director,
Sound Designer, Makeup Artist and everything in between.

Drawing Horses: Real and Fantasy
Tuesday, February 21, Instructor: Nikki Cooper
Ages 5-7, 3:30 - 4:30 PM, $8 members, $10 non-members
Ages 8-10, 4:45-6:15 PM, $12 members, $14 non-members
Learn to build horses from simple shapes. Then embellish with
horns, wings and whatever else your imagination desires. Add
some color and sparkle to complete.
Masterpiece in a Morning/Evening
Back by popular demand, these 3-hour classes allow beginner
to intermediate level artists to create a finished acrylic on
paper painting in a morning or evening. No experience is necessary
for any of the classes.
Instructor: Suzanne Miller
Cost per class: $20 for MTG members, $23 for non-MTG members.
Still Life with Flowers
Saturday, February 25, 9 AM -12 PM OR
Monday, February 27, 6-9 PM
Take yourself out of the winter blahs by painting a still life
featuring bright cheerful flowers. We will learn techniques
to create textures of fabric, glass, foliage and flowers.
