Monroe Theatre Guild (MTG) is proud to announce the formation of MTG Cabaret Players (MTGCP), a collective talent pool of performers and production artists, plus promotional and administrative expertise available for your next special celebration, theme party, historical tribute, company event, fundraiser, or other sponsored gathering.


Under the auspices of the Monroe Theatre Guild (established in 1970), Cabaret Players is an extensive, ongoing talent resource for your needs. Depending on the scope of your project, MTG Cabaret Players can offer you: 

  • A diverse talent pool of performers who can act scripted material, entertain audiences, portray fictional or historical characters, help create atmosphere, or any number of other scenarios
  • Original scripts or a creative framework for your event, based on your needs 
  • Publicity and promotional ideas to help you create community awareness
  • Experienced production artists who can advise you or help implement technical needs for your event, such as lighting, sound, or set pieces
  • Meeting spaces and rehearsal rooms at the MTG building for company events, off-site meetings, and performance needs
