NEWS AND Upcoming Events
Most folks are familiar with A CHRISTMAS CAROL, a short story written by Charles Dickens in 1843. This holiday classic recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy man who has soured on life. One fateful night, he is haunted by four spirits who guide him towards living a kinder, more benevolent way of life. This adaptation retains numerous aspects of the original work, featuring familiar scenes and characters, while also introducing new figures and offering creative interpretations of the tale.

March: Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, directed by Steven Smith, is a Tony Award-winning comedy by Christopher Durang. The play is about three middle-aged siblings, two of whom live together in a Bucks County, PA farmhouse. The third sibling, Masha, is a movie star who arrives with her new boyfriend, Spike. The play explores themes of family, regret, hope, and the choices we make in life.
June: Proof, directed by Stephen Eliasson, is a play by David Auburn set in the 1980s that explores themes of family, love, and mental illness. The play is about Catherine, a young woman who cares for her father, a former world-renowned mathematician, as he descends into mental illness. The play also explores the question of how much of her father's madness or genius she will inherit.
October: The Haunting of Hill House, directed by Andy Rocheleau, is about a group of people who experience unexplained events and question their sanity while staying in a supposedly haunted mansion. The story explores themes of fear, isolation, and the supernatural.
December: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, In this hilarious Christmas classic, directed by Marcia Bredeson, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas! This delightful show is adapted from the bestselling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States. The crowd-pleasing comedy features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and lots of laughs.
