Performances August 7 & 8

A.M. Session (Ages 8-12)
9:00 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Our younger group of theatre campers will meet every morning to learn the basics of theatre. They will learn theatrical terms, play improv games, and explore character development and other acting skills. They will also be introduced to the variety of experiences theatre offers, including sound, lighting, costuming, makeup, set construction and design, backstage crew, and more! Finally, they will learn and practice a skit to perform in the MTG Theatre Camp Revue at the end of the week.

NOTE: On Friday, August 7, A.M. campers may be asked to stay the full day (until 4 p.m.) if they are able so that we can complete a dress rehearsal of our performance that evening. More info about this will be shared the week of camp.

P.M. Session (Ages 12*-18)
1:00 p.m. - 4 p.m.

*12-year-olds must have attended MTG Theatre Camp previously.

Our older group of theatre campers will meet every afternoon to rehearse a mystery-comedy play that they will perform three times, August 7 and 8.

All P.M. session campers have the option of appearing as an actor on stage or participating as a technical or backstage crew member.

ALL P.M. session campers should complete the audition application on the left, even if they intend to participate in technical or backstage crew.

P.M. session campers are invited to participate as volunteer camp counselors in the A.M. Session. If interested, please check the box on the registration form.
